It was a real pleasure to visit Malvern Primary School recently and spend time seeing first-hand the brilliant work taking place to support our children.
Malvern is much more than a school building. It is a pillar of the local community. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the care, encouragement and ambition that surrounds the children there.
The staff’s commitment to every single child truly stands out. Whether it is helping pupils build confidence, supporting wellbeing, or creating opportunities for children to achieve their full potential, the dedication of the team is clear.
Schools like Malvern do far more than deliver lessons. They:
- Provide stability and reassurance
- Build resilience and confidence
- Support families as well as pupils
- Create a safe and inspiring environment for learning
That kind of work deserves to be recognised and championed.
Supporting Our Schools
As someone who works closely with families across Roby, I know just how important strong local schools are. They are often the first place families turn for advice, guidance and support.
Being out in the community, listening to staff and understanding the challenges they face is essential. It helps ensure that when decisions are being made locally, the voices of schools and families are heard.
I will continue to support and champion schools like Malvern Primary School, because when we invest in our children, we invest in the future of our community.
