Reported. Sorted. Keeping Roby Moving.

Earlier today, I was contacted by residents about a fallen tree blocking the road at Acacia Avenue / Ten Acre Pits.

The tree had come down across the carriageway, creating an obstruction and raising understandable concerns about safety and access for local residents.

As soon as I was informed, I contacted the relevant departments at Knowsley Council to make sure the issue was dealt with as quickly as possible.

I’m pleased to say the response was swift and the tree was safely removed, making the road fully usable again and ensuring residents could travel without risk.

What Matters Most

This is exactly how local issues should be handled:

  • Residents report concerns
  • Action is taken quickly
  • The problem is resolved

No drama. No delay. Just practical action.

Thank you to the residents who raised this with me promptly. When we work together and communicate quickly, we keep our community safe and functioning.

It might seem like a small issue in the grand scheme of things, but for the people who live on or travel through Acacia Avenue and Ten Acre Pits, it mattered today.

And that’s what local representation is about — being available, responsive and focused on delivering.
