It was a pleasure to attend the recent Careers Fair at St Anne’s Catholic Primary School, meeting pupils and talking about the many different opportunities available to them as they grow and develop their future ambitions.
Events like this are incredibly important. They give young people the chance to ask questions, explore different career paths and start thinking about the skills and experiences that can help them achieve their goals.
I enjoyed speaking with pupils about the work we do in our community, sharing how local leadership, community action and partnership working can make a real difference to people’s lives. It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm, curiosity and confidence from the children taking part.
A big thank you to the staff at St Anne’s for organising such a positive and inspiring event, and for their continued commitment to helping young people learn, grow and believe in their potential.
Supporting our schools and encouraging the next generation will always be a priority for me and my colleagues.
