Our Know the Risk campaign has always been about listening to residents, raising awareness, and pushing for practical action to tackle the growing issue of discarded nitrous oxide canisters across our communities.
We’re pleased to say that your voices have been heard.
Following continued concerns raised by residents and the momentum built through the campaign, Knowsley Council has now introduced a dedicated online reporting tool. This allows residents to quickly and easily report discarded canisters so they can be collected and removed safely.
This is a really positive step forward. It gives residents a direct way to take action, helps the council respond more effectively, and supports wider efforts to keep our streets, parks, and green spaces clean and safe.
This change hasn’t happened by chance. It’s the result of residents speaking up, concerns being raised consistently, and a shared commitment to improving our local environment.
If you come across discarded canisters, please take a moment to report them using the new tool below:
Together, we can continue to make a difference by highlighting issues, taking action, and working with partners to deliver real improvements in our communities.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the Know the Risk campaign so far.
Listening. Supporting. Delivering.
