I’m Gary See, a community leader and organiser with a strong track record of delivering practical support and lasting change for residents across Knowsley.
I am proud of Knowsley, of our resilience, and of the way our communities come together in challenging times. I am proud of the people who live and work here. Their kindness, determination, and willingness to support one another are what make Knowsley a wonderful place, and they are the reason I do this work.
My approach has always been about doing what matters most. I listen to residents, respond quickly, and turn ideas into action that make a real difference in people’s everyday lives. I am passionate about delivering for residents, building strong partnerships, and ensuring that support reaches those who need it most.
I believe I am at my best when I am:
-
Community focused and people led
-
Approachable, visible, and trusted
-
Committed to fairness, dignity, and inclusion
-
Practical and delivery driven, not just ideas led
-
Honest, accountable, and transparent
-
Collaborative and partnership focused
-
Resilient, determined, and not afraid to challenge inequality
-
Passionate about long term change and prevention, not short term fixes
Challenging inequality sits at the heart of everything I do. I work to remove barriers to support, protect dignity, and speak up for fairer decisions that reflect real lived experience. I believe strongly in co-production and in giving communities a real voice in shaping the services and spaces that affect them.
This commitment is reflected in the roles I hold and the work I lead. I am the charity CEO of TDCA, where I provide strategic and operational leadership to deliver a wide range of community support, activities, and services. I am also the Founder and Director of Explore Partnership CIC, leading the design and delivery of innovative projects and programmes focused on health, wellbeing, children, young people, and families. Alongside this, I am a School Governor at a Knowsley primary school, where I have contributed to the design and development of specialist provision to support children with additional needs.
These roles are not titles to me. They are examples of my strong track record of turning commitment into action, and of my ongoing dedication to building stronger, fairer, and more resilient communities across Knowsley.
