It was a pleasure to support the recent Roby Lodge Open Day and see so many local residents coming together to enjoy a fantastic community event.
As your local councillor, I was delighted to contribute raffle prizes and personally fund a bouncy castle so local children could enjoy the day free of charge.
Community events like this are so important. They bring neighbours together, reduce isolation and showcase the incredible work carried out by local organisations and volunteers.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising such a successful day. Your hard work made it a memorable occasion for all who attended.
