This morning it was a pleasure to visit the coffee morning at Court Hey Methodist Church, where local residents came together to raise money for Christian Aid.
As always, there was a fantastic atmosphere, plenty of conversation, and of course lots of homemade cake on offer too.
It was lovely to spend time speaking with Roby residents and hearing more about the important role the church continues to play within our community. The newly installed kitchen in the main church hall looks fantastic and will no doubt support many more events and activities in the future.
There is always a warm welcome at Court Hey Methodist Church, and today was another great example of community spirit at its best.
