There are so many fantastic activities and events taking place across Roby and the wider Huyton area this May half term, helping to bring families, children and local communities together.
From family fun days, cooking workshops and football camps, to forest school sessions, crafts, wildlife experiences and park activities, there really is something for everyone to enjoy over the school holidays.
It is especially great to see so many of our local parks and community spaces being brought to life through activities taking place at places including Court Hey Park, Bowring Park and Ten Acre Pits.
These events do not happen by accident. They are only possible thanks to the hard work, commitment and passion of so many local organisations, Friends Of groups, volunteers, community champions and supporters who give up their time to create opportunities for local families.
A huge thank you must go to all of the partners involved in organising and supporting these activities, including local volunteers, Knowsley Council teams, community groups and organisations who continue to work tirelessly behind the scenes.
Their efforts help create safe, welcoming and enjoyable spaces for children and families during the holidays, while also encouraging people to enjoy our fantastic green spaces and community venues.
It is always inspiring to see communities coming together in this way and highlights the real difference that partnership working and local volunteering can make.
