We’re pleased to see the completion of the repainting and refresh of the subway between Rimmer Avenue and Court Hey Avenue.
This is an improvement that we have been pushing for following concerns raised by residents about the appearance of the subway and how welcoming it felt. The transformation has made a real difference, creating a cleaner, brighter environment that feels safer and more inviting for those using this important pedestrian route.
Small improvements like this can have a big impact on how people feel about their local area and help create a more positive environment for everyone who uses the subway.
Thank you to the council teams involved in carrying out the work and to residents who raised concerns and supported our efforts to get the improvements delivered.
We’ll continue listening to residents, reporting issues and championing further improvements across Roby Ward.
